COLLABORATORS

Introducing some of the ARKOLOGY collective – a team of collaborating artists, designers, multimedia practitioners and socially-minded entrepreneurs investigating the potential of human-centred technologies for artistic expression, new spatial designs and collaborative environments.

Ross Eyre - Designer and Co-founder at ARKOLOGY, a transdisciplinary arts & technology collective based in Cape Town, South Africa

Ross Eyre

Designer, researcher & entrepreneur | Cape Town, ZA

Ross enjoys playing in the liminal spaces between the real and the virtualIn part because he intuites that such distinctions are no more substantiated than the foundations beneath our most common ontological framings. In practice he aims to transmute a natural capacity for spatial design and synthesis to help co-create emergent, social spaces as an investigation into collaborative sense-making and coordination.

Che Coelho - Designer and Co-founder at ARKOLOGY, a transdisciplinary arts & technology collective based in Cape Town, South Africa

Ché Coelho

Multimedia designer, researcher & entrepreneur | Cape Town, ZA

From a very young age, Ché was set on being a film maker. The idea of large scale, collaborative and techno-emergent art forms beckoned for their potential for complex social representation and futurist postulation.

Expanding his scope from that of film making, Ché aims to adopt the film maker’s model to coordinate collaborative and socially potent projects. With a reverence towards an interdisciplinary approach, Ché aims to draw from multiple mediums to conduct philosophical and anthropological investigations that encourage constructive and harmonious interaction between subjects and the context they exist within.
